Cannon Ball Contest

Badders Swim

This is a short video clip that I got. I was trying to take pictures and couldnt figure out why the camera wasn't clicking. Since the sun was bright and I didn't have my glasses I didnt realize I was on video mode, thus my phrase at the end about it not taking pictures.

Flying Addison

Swimming at the Badders

Today while mopping my kitchen floor I was dieing of heat and told John that I wanted to go swimming again just not in my clothes! I took our Young Women Church Youth Group swimming last night and they felt it necessary to push me and one other leader in the pool clothes and all! Anyway John at first said no, but then when I told him that the home owners were still on vacation in Utah and have told us several times to help ourselves, he told me as long as I called and asked first just to give him peace of mind he would go. I called them and they said that they of course did not care and they were on their way home and should be home between 3 and 4. I told them there was no way we would be there that long but thanks for letting us use their pool. We had SO MUCH FUN. The kids were fish and before we left Vincent was swimming all over the pool with no floaties. Addison was swimming well in the shallow end and thought that since he was doing that well and since Vincent was swimming in the deep end without floaties he could too. Well, John and I had to save him but he did well. Like I said we were having so much fun the owners came home. After visiting with them for a few minutes I commented that they had gotten home sooner then they thought and they said, "no, it is a quarter to 4". We had swam over three hours!

Noogies????

This morning after breakfast we sent the kids like any other morning to clean their rooms, make their beds, and get dressed for the day. Not long after they left Addison, Nicholas, & Eliza came out chanting, "Noogies, Noogies, Noogies" I was getting ready to ask what "Noogies" where in their translations, when Addison says, "Mom we made ourselves Noogies for our heads out of pants, like you do with a towel after you take a shower."

Kittens

The kittens are almost three weeks old and are getting so big. They are big enough that we started getting them out to walk around and stretch their legs since they are in a sterelite container most of time. The kids are sure enjoying them. And even though I think they are stinkin' cute, I am still on the countdown until they go!

Water Fun

One day after blogging about my lost camera it is found. One of the neighbor kids found it yesterday on the branch of the tree while they were outside playing with Addison. John is guessing he sat it down there while playing water baseball and forgot about it. *sign* Since this was one of the first activities we did and then the camera went missing afterwards I dont have the rest of the days events so will do another post later with them. Anyway we got a bat and ball from Winco that is made for playing with water. It was so much fun! We did not run the bases or anything. Just pitched out the ball and let the kids hit it. When they made contact with the ball water would fly out of it. We got wet and a lot of good laughs!

We are still here!!!!

We are still here. Not to much of blog worthiness has been going on accept for the 4th of July weekend in which John took my camera outside to take pictures of our water baseball game and now we cannot find it. :-(! Hopefully it turns up soon. I have not been having much luck when it comes to my camera lately. Anyway, my mom took pictures I just did not get a chance to download them before she left. Hopefully will get them next week and download them then. In other Wilder Highlights we did get a house and are 3 weeks into escrow. It has been an exciting and scary time. We hope to be in the week before school starts.
