I don't have a camera to take a picture of this one, I lost it at the boys school I am guessing. I went up to Vincent's Second Grade Awards Assembly and took pictures, and thought I had dropped it in the my purse and then I did put my purse in the back of the stroller. Went and got Addison from Kindergarten, then around the building to get Vincent, and then to the car and home. When I got home I could not find my camera anywhere. My mom graciously brought me her second camera this weekend so I could take pictures at Addison's Birthday Party, but she forgot the cord to plug into the computer so I cannot download anything. Anyway to back up where I was I was working in Addison's class on Friday. When the kids went to recess Addison's Teacher brought me a book that Addison had put together on Dinosaurs from their last Science Unit. She said she knew it was Addison's from deduction of all the other kids, but the front read, "Dinosaurs, by Toorlif Natr" I knew exactly what it said right away and busted up laughing. She asked me what it was and I said that his middle name was Torleif and since he was very little his nickname has been "Torleif Nator" Guess we better start working on first names more. Eliza has two nicknames and when she is asked who she is she proudly announces "Lucy Goose!" I never had a nickname growing up and John gave me one after we were married and I loved having one so we have given all our kids ones and apparently Addison thought it would work for school too!

Addison Torleif Wilder

Today is not Addison's Birthday, but I am getting started two days early. Mr. Addison is quite the addition to our family. We call him our resident turn the house upside down, then right side up again. He is a very active little boy. He just learned to ride his bike without training wheels, and is riding his bike almost everyday now. He loves to build with legos, and play dress up. As my mom learned after having my kids a few days two weeks ago, there is never a dull moment when Addison is around, and when he is gone the house is eerily very quiet and content! love You Addison!

Making Lemonade
Our next door neighbor works at a citrus *field* *Farm* anyway he said they give them boxes full of fruit and since the weather is getting warmer they wont save in his garage so he gave us a big ball full of oranges and a bag full of lemons. I love lemonade it is one of my favorite drinks, so I got out my juicer, and we took it to my parents house. Eliza thought it looked neat and so she took over juicing the lemons. We had fresh squeezed lemonade with our Easter Dinner. it was YUMMY!

Playing at the Park with Grandpa and Daddy

On Saturday while my mom and I went to the store to get the last of the things we needed for Easter Dinner, and got dinner started, my dad and John took the boys to their ever favorite park by grandpa and gradma's house, "Sherwood Forest". I asked John to take a couple of pictures for me and well he took A LOT! I love it!

Dance Revolution

When John and I got into town on Friday (that is the Friday before Easter remember I am back tracking due to a messed up computer), anyway when we got into town the kids were at the local pizza parlor and arcade. The kids did not seem to excited to see us, but were having a blast with grandpa, grandma, great grandpa, and great grandma at the pizza place. The highlight of the evening was Eliza discovering Dance Revolution. The girl loved the music and flashing lights. She could not do it correctly, but got her groove on. The funny part was when she decided to poll dance to the music, (A Part of Kaylee did rubb off onto her!)

The Motorcycle Park

Addison learned to ride his bike without training wheels recently and wants to go everywhere on his bike. Unfortunately our neighbors do not drive down the street very slowly, so it makes us nervous to have him out riding in the front yard much, and he is still to young to go around the block by himself. There is the river walkway not far from our house and so John took him to ride his bike on it one day and he found trails that were in the dirt too. He loves it there and calls it, "The Motorcycle Park" When grandma came for a visit he talked her into taking him over their to ride his bike in the dirt.

Ashlee Hoffman Pictures
Right before the kids left to go to my parents on Thursday we went to the park and Ashlee took pictures for us again. She as always did a wonderful job. Kaylee went along too as she wanted a picture done with Eliza, or as we call the two of them, Lucy & Ethel. Kaylee is leaving to Utah this Sunday for work and school, and her and her mom invited Eliza and I to go along with them. It is going to be a long day, but I am excited to go and see Kaylee off. Anyway, Ashlee once again did great pictures. If you are ever in the Porterville area and want some nice pictures done she is the one to call. After the first of this coming year I will be loosing her too as she is heading to Idaho for college. Guess I better set up some more pictures huh!

A lot to catch up on!
I have so much to catch up on it is sad. The problem is our computer got a virus and after several scans and buying a program to get rid of viruses, we still have not got rid of it. :-(! It looks like we may have to completely wipe clean the whole hard drive and start from scratch. BUMMER! Hopefully whatever needs to be done gets done soon so that I cam get the last two weeks of pictures done, and Addison's Birthday is this next week so have to get my Birthday Post up and running. I am thankful for friends who let me come over and use their computer today to check my email and update here.
As for the house I have had several emails and calls from people wanting to know if we got the house from the earlier post. Unfortunately we still do not know. They told us they had an answer and would get it to us within 24 hours 48 at the most and when another week went by with no response our real estate agent called them and asked what was going on and they said, that they had lost our paperwork and they were planning on calling her for her to fax it over again. What????? She did and then another week and still nothing so we decided to go looking again. My parents took the kids last Thursday and John and I were to follow Friday so we called the real estate agent and told her we were tired of waiting we wanted to go looking. Friday we went and looked at 4 homes (none were short sales this time!). We then headed to my parents house after we looked at the homes and since we had no kids with us we had a wonderful 2 1/2 hour conversation (without interruptions I might add) about the houses. When we got back we put in an offer on this home.
We find out Friday if they accept our offer or if they want to make a counter offer on Friday. Glad to have a date this time!

Learn From My Mistake
From the post below you can tell my kids had a blast jumping on the trampoline with the sprinklers running underneath. That was until Nicholas slipped and hurt his leg. It was swelling last night so we called a member of our church who is a Orthopedic Surgeon. He told us to have it x-rayed in the morning and then bring him into his office and he would review everything. After two and a half hours in the walk in clinic for x-ray this morning, and another hour and a half in the Dr. office this is what Nicholas is fashioning now.
He has broke his leg and now has to go get a MRI as the Dr. things he may have tore something under his knee cap too. :-(
He said all though trampolines are fun and great exercise they are hard on little bones, that he suggests never letting them jump on it while it is wet again. Unfortunately I think we learned our lesson the hard way.

Jumping In the Sprinklers!

Yes, I know some of you friends and family readers have still be dealing with cold weather and in the past few weeks still had snow. In good ole' Cali my kids are enjoying their First Official Day of Spring Break jumping on the trampoline with the sprinklers on. I thought they were crazy but after asking me majority of the morning, I gave in after lunch. They have been having a glorious time.

Pippi Longstocking
In Vincents class this year they have been reading the books Pippi Longstocking and just recently went down to Bakersfield to the Fox Theater to see the stage play. Vincent was very dissapointed with the play as it was nothing like the book, but one day the child will come to understand plays and movies rarely are like the books.

Creative Side

My friend is having a baby next week and had her baby shower two weeks ago. She asked me if I would consider her rude if she asked me for something specific. I asked her what she had in mind and she asked me if I could make her one of the bags I make and sell and if I would make it in browns and pinks and put her babies name on the front of it. This was the end result. I loved it so much I wanted to keep it for myself. Accept that it said Kaylee on the front of it. Good thing I bought enough fabric to make two. :-)!
