Our Princess Is 3!

If you would have asked Eliza last week how old she was going to be on her birthday she would have told you she was turning 14 because she is "big" now. But we have accepted that we are 3 today. She got to go to preschool today with her big brother. We made "pinkalicious" cup cakes just for the occasion. After we pick her and her brothers up from school we are heading to the airport to pick up aunt Anna and then to Southern California to go to Disneyland tomorrow. I think we are going to have a great time!

This Is What You Are Wearing To Bed

We sent Addison upstairs to get ready for bed last night. Few minutes later he came down dressed like this.

Everyone else then had to join it the fun.

Disneyland's PreParade

As most of you know we volunteered for our day at Disneyland. When claiming our voucher online we had to tell them what day we were coming. We got an email from Disney this last week thanking us for serving our community and letting us know they look forward to us coming soon and they have also preparade especially for us. We got online to see what the preparade was. We were excited before! Now we are very excited!

Addison's Adventure Out

Addison was having a bad day and needed to get out of the house. And I needed him to get out of the house too. I really needed to get to Wal*Mart and get our monthly supplies of laundry soap, diapers, wipes, etc so took him along for the ride. He pushed the cart for me until in got too heavy then we switched places and I pushed while he loaded the things we needed into the cart and marked them off the list. When we got to the check stand he helped load it all on the belt and then climbed into the cart and told me it was hard work he was tired. I told him he wasn't going to be able to stay there long as we would have to put the things back in so we could get it out to the car. No problem, he just loaded the big items on the bottom and sat on them, and we loaded the light items around him so he could get a ride back out to the car. Glad my camera was still in my purse from our trip.

It's Fun To Throw Rocks In The Water

While at my parents it rained A LOT!!!! When there was a break in the rain, my mom, Addison, and Eliza went out for a walk around the block and they found what Addison called a creek. He was so excited about it, they came back and got grandpa and Nicholas and went back to throw rocks in.

Eliza's Early Birthday Party

My grandpa and grandma Sanders moved in with my parents about two months ago from Washington State so my parents could help take care of my grandfather who has cancer and a form of Alzheimer's disease. I have been wanting to get over and see him since I have not seen him in over a year, but we have had sickness going through our family and also, the problem of where we would stay when we went over. We have always stayed at my parents house, and really we could have and slept on the front room floors, but with my grandfathers mental state, I wasn't sure how my kids would handle it, and thought it would be best if we stayed somewhere else and just visited my parents house. We stayed at my other grandparents house but spent the days at my parents. All though my grandfather had some times where he got agitated or his mental state was way out there, my kids did really well and he handled having them there too. One time Addison came into the room and said, "Great grandpa keeps saying something to me that I don't understand. Is it okay if I ignore him?" My mom and I had a little chuckle but I went out to see if I could figure out what grandpa was talking about. All day grandpa had been asking everyone who walked by if the u-haul was done being packed so we could hit the road and start driving, we would assure him that it was still being filled so wasn't time to leave, and he would sit down and wait again. Addison was sitting in his wheelchair and moving it around the front room, Grandpa was asking him if that was what he was going to ride in for the trip. Addison just wasn't getting it.
Since Eliza's birthday is in two weeks we decided to have a family party over at my parents house so grandpa could be apart of it. A lot of fun was had by all this weekend, and we look forward to going back for Easter Weekend.
