John left for work this morning and we will not see him again until tomorrow afternoon. He is going to have a fun filled full evening, night and weekend. On Tuesday he came home from work and said that the Senior Class Teacher Representative had come to him and asked if he and his wife could accompany the seniors on the Over Night Disney Grad Night Trip Thursday night. He told her he would talk to me and let her know on Wednesday. As most of you know me that is one of my FAVORITE places to go! Right away I said, "Yes, lets do it!" But, realization hit we would have to worry about kids. My parents are in Washington visiting my grandparents so they could not come over and watch the kids, so I talked to my friend who watches the two little ones on Friday for me and she said absolutely. We were set but as the evening wore on I told John I felt I should stay here as Friday night is the Father/Sons Camp out for our church and John is taking the boys. I have camping gear to get ready and shopping to do to get them ready. I decided it was best if I stayed home got the kids to school on Friday and got John and the boys packed for their overnight trip while John slept for a couple of hours before heading to the mountains for their camp out. It was not an easy decision, but we are hoping that we can afford to take the kids during Spring Break next Spring. Then I can look forward to going with my family. Have fun John!

Addison's Name
Baby names meanings search results:
Addison
The name Addison is a baby boy name. The name Addison comes from the English origin. In English The meaning of the name Addison is: Son of Adam.
When John and I named Addison when he was born we had not heard of the name before, we found it in my family history. It was my great grandfathers name. The fall after Addison was born the series "Grey's Anatomy" started and one of the female doctors name was Addison. After that the name has sky rocketed through the roof as a very popular girls name. It bothered John and I a lot as we were both worried that he may get teased since more people were using it as a girls name. In his primary class there is a little girl named Adyson and they got the name from "Grey's Anatomy" just changed the spelling to make it more feminine. Addison didnt seem to mind that, but yesterday came home from school and said his substitute said her little girls name was Addison and so a couple of the boys started telling him he had a girls name. He came home and wanted to know why we gave him a girls name. I showed him in our family history the name but that didnt solve it. I then went to babynames.socialsecurity.gov. It lists off popular names of the year and yes, Addison was on the girls list as one of the most popular names, however, when you click on the name for the meaning and origin it reads,

My Addison beamed from ear to ear and said, "All those girls have a boys name!" And right he is!

Daddy Long Legs
John and I got this email tonight, and we were both laughing hard.
A father watched his young daughter playing in the garden.
He smiled as he reflected on how sweet and pure his little girl was.
Tears formed in his eyes as he thought about her seeing the wonders of nature through such innocent eyes.
Suddenly she just stopped and stared at the ground.
He went over to her to see what work of God had captured her attention.
He noticed she was looking at two spiders mating.
'Daddy, what are those two spiders doing?' she asked.
'They're mating,' her father replied.
'What do you call the spider on top?' she asked.
'That's a Daddy Longlegs,' her father answered.
'So, the other one is a Mommy Longlegs?' the little girl asked.
As his heart soared with the joy of such a cute and innocent question he replied, 'No dear.
Both of them are Daddy Longlegs.'
'The little girl, looking a little puzzled, thought for a moment, then lifted
her foot and stomped them flat.
'Well, we're not having any of that crap in our garden' she said.

Portervile Fair

After living here for five summers we can now say we have attended the Porterville Fair. Bishop and Joy Taylor gave us 4 free tickets into the fair, free VIP parking (so we got to park right in front of the entrance) and 2 unlimited ride coupons. John and I took the two big boys and left the two little ones with my parents. We gave the ride coupons to the boys to which they received a bracelet and then we spent the evening walking from kids ride to kid ride. The evening was great and only cost us the money for a cold drink for the night. We are thankful to the Taylor's for the graciousness in giving us the tickets. We would have not been able to go otherwise.

Nicholas' Birthday Party

After having to postpone his party a week due to the fact he got sick, we had Nicholas' first ever friend birthday party. He was so excited about it. He kept watching out the front window for his friends to get there, and we had a lot of fun. We had a Mario Party 8 Carnival Party. We had a hot dog lunch and then played carnival games, and had snow cones, popcorn, and cake for treats. The kids were sent home with lots of prizes and full of sugar. It was a lot of fun!

Kaylee Annalise
I had to post this as she is too cute. This is my friend Laurie's new addition. She had a son first whom was the calmest and easiest baby in the world. She wanted to little girl for her second and she got her and all the drama that comes with them. She said she was born with the lower lip out and when she doesn't get her way 99.9% of the time it comes out followed with high pitch screaming. Got to love it!

Eliza's Sweater
Great Grandma Vincent found this sweater and a pink one just like it on the clearance rack so she could not pass them up. It has worked wonderfully with a lot of outfits. Dressy for Sunday and Casual with a pants outfit. Good thing Grandma bought sized 3T. Their big enough to last through next winter.

Addison's Birthday Party
My mom brought me the chord to her camera so I am able to catch up on some old posts.
Addison had his Family Birthday Party two weeks ago. He chose to have a Transformer Themed Family Party. Great Grandpa and Great Grandma Vincent, and Grandpa and Grandma Sanders came over to join in the celebration. Lathan from across the street came over too, and we let him stay and join us.
