Ice Cream Round Two

Great Grandpa and Grandma Sanders were so excited to see how much the kids liked the ice cream that they sent more gift certificates in the kids Valentine Cards. Since we do not have a Baskin Robbins around us we saved them for our trip to Paso Robles. The kids got to go two times while on our last visit and we even took the little girl my mom takes care of. She is one day younger then Eliza, and she loved the ice cream too!

Here Comes Peter Cottontail

Vincent, Addison, & Eliza had their picture taken with the Easter Bunny the other day. The nice thing about it, it was free! Nicholas was very excited about the bunny and would talk to him and look at him , but only from a distance. We asked him if he wanted his picture and he said "NO!" I do not believe in making my kids sit there and cry, or cause a fear that way just for a picture so we left it at "No". The two older boys thought it was great and thought it was a lot like Christmas and telling Santa what they want. I had to chuckle though when Vincent said, "Will you please bring me a Wii in my Easter Basket?" Apparently my son does not remember that the Easter Bunny has never brought big gifts for their Easter Basket. That stuff all comes from Grandpa and Grandma Sanders (he he).

Our Princess Turned One

Our Little Princess Turns One Tomorrow (Sunday) so we decided that even though we were only going to do a little family party we would have it on Saturday. We bought her a Happy Meal From McDonalds with an Apple Juice and it just so happened that they had Princess Toys in their Happy Meals so she received a Belle Bracelet. She was very excited as she LOVES to eat (if all the cute little rolls didn't already tell you that). When then sang "Happy Birthday" and she got her own little cake to eat and enjoy squishing in her fingers. While I cleaned the table from dinner and cake, the boys made prince hats for themselves and a princess hat for their sister, and Eliza got a quick dip in the tub from her father. We then watched her attempt to open her presents but she made small rips and enjoyed sitting on them and hitting them that her brothers just could not take it so they did it for her. She got two more Disney Princess Babies that she absolutely loves. She gives her babies lots of loves and kisses and just adores them. Her Grandma Sanders is thrilled that she loves her babies sooooooo much. We got the babies on sale and then found out that the were discontinued as the new series was coming out and when we went back they were gone. So, we were sad that she does not have the complete set. We did find out though that Grandma Sanders got her another one for her birthday also (shhhh Eliza doesn't know that yet) so after they come to visit in two days she will only be two dolls short in the whole series. All in all it was a very fun evening, and her brothers did a wonderful job picking the party as

I was planing on having just a basic party with pink and purple plates and cups and when I went to pick the things up at the store, I got informed that she needed a princess party. So, that is what we did and we all had a "Royal Time!"

Our Church had their annual breakfast and Easter Egg hunt this morning. The boys (even Nicholas with the sour face) had a good time collecting eggs. Eliza even got one egg and was having tons of fun shaking it and listening to the candy inside. Then about an hour after we got home she discovered it opened and then enjoyed the chocolate immensely and had a chocolate face and drool.

Learning To Walk Booboo

Eliza was making attempts at walking and then decided to go for it. She made it to the third step and fell and hit the corner of our couch which is wood finished so gave herself a black eye. She did not make attempts for several days after that and now is very cautious with her walking. The top picture is a perfect example she walks kind of hunched over and very slow and cautious with only three steps being her max before she sits down fast so she won't fall. The top picture is also one of my favorite dresses of hers as she looks so beautiful in green with her red hair.

Birthday Pictures

Today Addison, Nicholas, & Eliza had their birthday pictures done. Even though their birthdays are a month apart, I wanted to get it done with one bill and not have to buy three packages over the next three months so we went to the studio this morning to get it all done. Luckily for us our favorite photographer was in the Porterville Store covering for another Photographer which saved us a trip to Visalia!
